Sasebo Hash House Harriers needs members like you to join us for some fun and adventure!

- The original Hash House Harriers was founded in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1938. From this humble beginning, chapters of the Hash House Harriers have been established worldwide . Our hash features live hares which set trail with chalk and flour fifteen minutes prior to the departure of the persuing hounds. Our hares pride themselves in setting interesting hash trails for the pack to follow and if clever and quick enough they will elude capture by the hounds. Here's Sasebo Hash House Harriers guide.

- It is easy to join the Sasebo Hash House Harriers, since our membership is always open. All that you will need to do is to find your way to the start and pay the day's entry fee of 6 dollars or 500 yen, which will ensure that there will always be cold beverages and munchies for you at the finish. The typical length of the long trail is 5 to 10 km.

- The Hash House Harriers has become Internationally popular with several hundred chapters worldwide and growing . Hashers from around the world are invited to meet at their Nations's Interhash, Continent's Interhash, and World Interhash . Within Japan, there are Hashes in Sasebo, Iwakuni, Kansai: (Kobe, Osaka), Nagoya, Kanto: (Tokyo, Tokyo Ladies, Samurai, Sumo, etc..) , Misawa , and Okinawa .

- Since our membership includes all the nationalities, there should be many opportunities to learn language and culture, plus see Japan up close as we explore all of the interesting terrain and landmarks together.

Schedule 2013   (Receding Hareline)

- The Sasebo Hash House Harriers meets 2nd, 4th, 5th Sundays and 3rd Saturday for regular runs and 1st Saturday for bar-to-bar (pub crawl) run.
